YJ Speedy Lube

The lightest of the three, marked 速 for speed. A thin silicone lube that cuts friction inside the mechanism and frees up a cube that has turned sticky, dry or sluggish after a long stretch of use.

Reach for it when a puzzle is turning slower than it should — not when it is already loose. A light lube on an over-fast cube usually makes it harder to control, which is exactly what the heavier 控 bottle is for. A small amount on the pieces, then turn the cube to work it in.

Silicone-based and safe on ABS plastic. Also available in the three-bottle YJ Lube Set alongside the medium 稳 and heavy 控 bottles.
