YJ Control Lube

The thickest of YJ’s three lubes — the bottle marked 控, meaning control. It is used to slow a cube down: worked into the pieces it adds drag and damping, which takes the edge off a puzzle that overshoots, locks up on fast turns, or feels too loose after a magnet swap.

Best on a cube that is already quick and needs restraint rather than speed. A few drops inside the puzzle, then turn it for a minute to spread the lube through the mechanism. More is not better with a heavy lube — it is far easier to add a second drop than to wash one out.

Silicone-based and safe on ABS plastic. Also available in the three-bottle YJ Lube Set alongside the medium 稳 and light 速 bottles.
