A new cube comes with a thin, uneven layer of factory lube, so it feels stiff and scratchy until it settles in. We lubricate yours before it ships, so you get the settled feel from your first solve instead of after a week of turning.
Standard Lube
Silicone lubricant between the moving pieces. It clears the factory friction, so the cube runs smoother and quieter than an untouched one. The sensible pick for a first speedcube, or a refresh for one you already own.
ProLube
Premium lubricants, tuned for the balance between speed and control rather than speed alone. A broken-in feel from the very first turn, and fewer lock-ups when you turn fast.

A great budget 2×2, was a little stiff, but with lube it’s amazing. For the price, I highly recommend it, but get it with the lubing service as without it, it feels absolutely bone dry and not pleasant. Corner cutting is incredible, past 45 degrees, and reverse is about more than half a piece.
Great price, corner cutting is excellent.

With no setup, pretty bad. Not necessarily that durable, sometimes pops on my friends 2×2. Mine however is lubed with Dnm and amazing!
