ShengShou FTO
The cheapest sensible way into FTO. A face-turning octahedron — eight triangular faces and every one of them turns. It looks intimidating and it is one of the friendlier non-WCA puzzles once the idea clicks.
This is the plain version: no magnets and no alignment mechanism. It is light and it turns fine, but you line the faces up yourself before each move. Normal at this price, and not a problem at all while you are still learning the solve.
Stickerless and ready out of the box.
If you already know FTO is your thing, take the magnetic version instead — the magnets settle the faces for you.
