The same starter FTO, with small magnets fitted inside the edge and corner pieces.
On a face-turning octahedron the faces have no natural stopping point the way a cube layer does, so on a non-magnetic one you spend real time nudging faces back into line before every move. The magnets give you a click into place — turning gets faster and a lot more accurate.
For the small difference over the plain version, this is the one worth taking if you actually plan to solve it and not just try it once.
