A Kongming lock — the Chinese interlocking puzzle also called a Luban lock — in QiYi’s transparent plastic. The Satellite is the ring design: several curved pieces that pass through one another and come apart in one order and go back together in another.

No colours, no algorithms, nothing to memorise. You take it apart by feel and then discover that putting it back is the harder half. Small enough for a pocket and cheap enough to hand out.
