YJ MeTa3 3×3 (Wing-Magnetic + 8-Magnet Ball-Core + UV)

The top MeTa3, and the only one that runs three magnet systems at once: the standard piece magnets, an 8-magnet ball core, and YJ’s wing magnets running from the centres out to the edge feet. Around 124 magnets in one cube.

What that buys you is positioning from three directions instead of one. The layers find their line early and hold it, so the cube feels solid under speed rather than loose and drifty — a clear step up in control over the MGC Beta 3×3.

The structure was reworked for it too: centre skirts with matching cutouts in the edges keep the pieces tracking together, and the corner caps are sharpened at the tips so corner twists are much harder to trigger.

UV coated — glossy premium surface with grip, and it resists wear instead of polishing smooth.

Three-level compression adjustment plus non-polar tensioning, stickerless, WCA legal. Released August 2025.
